Exactly...no way for a follow up...it was that bad. I think with a can there is no whiteout. Matter of fact after the shot you see im pointed down on the ground...I thought that was still smoke because there was little wind. Then I got my bearings and found the pig.

Its hard to look through it for long times at night. Your looking at a TV 3" from your eye in the dark. So I would look and scan then rest my head on my hand with my eyes closed listening. They had 3 coons at the stand (have vid) for a while. So I would look and see coons and put my head down...repeat for a while. Then one time I looked and it was just 4 pigs. I really would like a set of binoculars for general scanning with out the bulk of the gun. ATN makes some too for around the same as this scope.

Appreciate the thread. I too was looking at this sight too...well...NV v.s. Thermal in General, but kept finding myself at this ATN.

And I want one for your exact reasons - hog hunting. Really, just hunting and shooting anything at night. We have a few beavers that I'd like to have some fun with.

Your pictures and video make me less apprehensive on buying one. I'll definitely be picking one up, along with some binoculars to scan with.

Question: Did you use your kill light for that hog? Or was that moon light only?
