the weirdest part of the whole thing is the fact that there was no SOS call

had they lost power and not been able to hit the waves the correct direction you would at least think they would make a call to coast guard

well on the "show" sig hanson said when they lose power, they lose "everything" radio and all so they cant call for help.

I would "think" there is no reason not to have safety items like radios on backup battery power and bilge pumps running on their own isolated fuel source rather then everything depending on the main electrical grid but the "show" made it appear as they dont
