Credit cards with no interest

Are there any credit cards out there with no interest for like a year or so? Asking for a friend. I do not know the interest rate on his current CC, but I know he said he pays over $250 a month on in minimum payment. I dont have credit cards, so I am not an expert, but I would like to think there is a way to do a balance transfer and save on interest.

I believe that the Chase Slate card has/had a 0% balance transfer offer for 15 months.

Depending on his credit score he may not be able to get one of those 0% cards. Then again, he might qualify for one that charges a lower rate than what he's currently paying.

Yeah, there are tons of cards with introductory rates at 0%, but if he's having trouble paying off a card, he may not have a great credit score. Or he may have a great score if he's never missed a payment.
In any case, even if the card is 0%, they charge a percentage fee for balance transfers.
