There is plenty of fault to go around with why he wasn't successful at LSU. Cameron and Miles get some of it, but he does too.
Finally someone says it. He seemed like a stand up young man.... a few iffy decisions on social media, but a solid individual. BUT, let us not forget, his decision making on the field was not entirely the "coaches" fault.

Here's the thing: not saying this will actually happen, but we've seen freshman qb's succeed before. Maybe with an actual qb coach, one of these newcomers could actually contribute early.

Yea u forgot that he was built like a man child and had the best defense in the nation behind him. Brennan weighs 180 soaking wet. Etling or Scott this year. Let Lowell and Brennan RS.

'member when he finally got some snaps? I believe it was the Bama shutout in 96. popularity drop of epic proportions after that. like Michigan after App State type drop. he needs to be down below the fat baws.

That redshirt freshman will be starting. True freshman qbs start all over the country. You probably wanted Les and Cam to stay. Play the best qb, the best qb that fits the system, no matter what year they are.

Y'all need to slow your roll on Brennan.
Seriously.
Kid is redshirting for sure. He needs to add about 25 lbs. and won't be here in the Spring like Etling, Scott, and Narcisse.
He is going to be a good one I think, but he reallllly needs time to physically mature and not to mention learn the offense.

Nobody in the above thread has mentioned Brennan. Why can't he start? Several freshman start all over the course try. Scott will be starting next year anyways.

I've never seen such a talent wasted by lack of coaching. It makes me sick to my stomach.

The best decision for him and LSU.
We'll never know if his talent could have translated into being a productive Qb with a different QB coach and a different scheme.
HS talent doesn't always translate at college level. Particularly at QB where you have to be a student of the game and really dedicate yourself to your "craft". I know some questioned this aspect of his time at LSU.
Also, his HS coach needs to get over Brandon's tenure here. It was under a different regime and has nothing to do with O and Canada.
Best of luck to Brandon.
