is horrid. Evans at 54% is bad too.

so are reddick

Reddick isn't a lockdown defender, but he's not a liability. he is sound and knows his rotations. if Hield gets to that level, he will be good enough defensively

Hield looks like a 4th/5th starter at best. if his handle improves, he could be more than a shooter, but I'm not holding my breath.

Thompson comps are off for me b/c of his high/quick release. he can let it fly from anywhere at any time- Hield cant

the december surge in 3pt shooting notwithstanding buddy hield is not by any measure having a noteworthy rookie year. whether this is to be expected or whether this should be concerning in any way is up for debate

whats not up for debate is that his traditional and advanced stats range from well-below average to "cover your eyes"

Buddy has a quick release. Very quick.

Sometimes I wonder if people just make shite up because it fits their narrative?

And thompson can use the backboard when he is forced wide on his way to driving layup. He makes a 6 or 9 footer from 30 degrees to 45 degrees off the board. Slick.

Buddy needs to get in gym off season, work on his game 10 feet and in.
