Pretty self explanatory.. it overcame the low affordability score with high marks elsewhere. San Jose has pretty obvious positives along with that negative.

San Jose and the west bay area up to San Francisco is very nice. Incredibly expensive....but very nice.

Friend, my point was that with a median housing cost of 880k, 1600 for rent is incredibly cheap, so much so that it doesn't really add up.
Here north of San Jose housing averages 400-500k, and yet rent is around 2500-3000
