Maybe it got really ugly too close to NSD to make that move. Who knows.

He fired him....what else do you want him to do? You're splitting hairs if you're simply complaining about the time frame.

O kept him on to save his recruiting class. Do you think these fickle 18 year-olds would have honored their commitment if he fires his recruiting coordinator before NSD? We'd be looking at a class of fewer than 20 and barely in the top 20. For O to pull 23 and a top 10 class tells me he knows what he's doing when it comes to recruiting.
