I think this is a lame "gotcha" question anyway. Nobody is asking them live in anyone's home.

But they are asking for others to pay for public assistance, which means taking someone else's money and sheltering them in someone else's dwelling.

But they will be living within a close vicinity of someone. And if they cannot be properly vetted, which the FBI has already come out and said they couldn't be, then I see no point in risking it (even if the risk is small).

Why do they even need to come here? There are MANY other suitable countries much closer to where they are.

When a proper vetting situation is in place, then resume helping. Until then, there no sense in bringing in people who we have no idea who they are, who they are affiliated with, etc...
