And the majority of them want to kill us whether we welcome them into our country or not. Doesn't matter how nice you are, they hate Americans and Europeans and are taught that we should all be killed. Period.

The issue is who gets to determine these "values" and how are they applied. I would be 100% fine with me getting to decide it, but not so keen on others.
Assuming they follow the law, I just can't see why you can say - this religion welcome, this religion not welcome - without running into a whole host of issues.
Atheists are loathed in america, should we ban their admittance?

If the atheist believes gays should be put to death, that girls should be subjected to genital mutilation, that a child who decides to not be an atheist anymore should be put to death, and that women are basically second class citizens, then hell yes...keep them out.

I'm not even necessarily anti-Muslim, I just found the comparison with LDS ridiculous. I come from 150 years of Mormon stock and I've never met a child bride or a polygamist.

You sure about the mutilation? Sure, it's illegal. But how would you know if they're practicing it or not? Maybe when they travel back and forth? Maybe they know a Muslim doctor here who would perform it? And you really think they would tell you if they did?
Look, I'm not anti Muslim immigration either. But severely restricting immigration from certain countries? Absolutely.

Not just visa's, but also permanent residents. This is the basis of the original legal challenge and subsequent ruling.
