I'm trying really hard not to melt right now.

- We are about to give up another first rounder for another center that doesn't fit our coach or our system.

- We are doubling down on getting that sacrificial 8 seed and all but guaranteeing losing out on the top heavy star studded draft.

- We have no clear guarantees of Jrue's return to the point the Sixers have equal confidence in signing him. So we are just rolling the dice on Jrue since it seems we don't want to include him.

I would trade everyone not named Buddy or AD. Trade all these bitches and acquire as many assets as possible to build around those two. What choice do we really have? There is not one single piece that we can realistically add that will get us anywhere near the top 4.

at least its the 2018 pick, right now our only long term guys are AD, Asik, and Ajinca. 2 of which are borderline useless. We swap one of those out with Okafor.

I don't think he will be some kind of savior. we're still inconsistent at guard/SF

yup, which worries me. we could realistically net a 1st rounder or another quality guard for him...

If that were true they wouldn't be trying to trade for him. I really think Holiday is the Pels to lose, the question is, if Philly throws a full max at him, $31 million, do the Pels match? $20-$25 million is already iffy territory, if you go full max then you do have to start wondering if Rubio + trade assets for Jrue + $17 million in salary difference between Rubio/Holiday is better than keeping Holiday at all costs. Or rather paying him that much makes will make Holiday the new Asik just like Asik replaced Gordon.

As much cap space as Philly has would they really throw the max at Holiday?

Gentry is probably gone anyway. So the being a bad fit its not that concerning to me.
