It states that Louisiana should actually start receiving a portion of due from the offshore rigs. I've always heard that we get screwed compared to other states in this regard, but I don't know exactly how we're different. Does anyone know if this measure is still in place?

As it stands, I'd rather go back to paying the property taxes I paid in TN and have no income tax than what we have now.
