facts are facts

I pay 1800/yr property tax on a 250,000 house
on the other hand I pay exponentially more in income tax which encourages me to find every possible way to maneuver around that, and who knows how much in sales tax which encourages me to buy from places that help me avoid it

meanwhile the poor pay a much higher percentage of their income in taxes than I do

Move to Orleans and tell me how much cheaper the property taxes are compared to the rest of the country. Tangi--okay 1/2 of what Orleans is.

I pay three times that on property taxes with a house worth about 300k and i believe the sales tax is like 7% here in jax.

I does make since though for louisiana to charge higher sales tax because louisiana as a whole does not have a whole lot of high property values statewide compared to bigger states.
