No need for sarcasm - it was a serious question.

Yes his on the field coaching might have been lacking, but losing an ace recruiter at position of RC is important.

I ask again - how do you replace him? Who do you replace him with.

Serious or not, I think there was a need for the sarcasm. You got the answer you deserved when you asked how, which suggests Craig is irreplaceable and that is just silly.

He proved to be a lazy recruiter. You act like having a role equals being effective at the role. Experience=/= success. Thats that "well he/she has been in politics for a long time...so thats good." mentality.

You get a coach that is great on teaching technique and fundamentals and has put receivers in the NFL and is great at evaluating talent, then you sign him up. There are coaches out there that meet those criteria. If he does a good job, the recruiting will follow.

you have a valid point and our recruiting could suffer a little, esp in south Alabama. replace him with a very good coach and a fair to good recruiter and you should still be in am improved position. Louisiana has always produced and excess of top receiver talent and we should get our share. the position of WR is very technical and a position where skills are every bit as important (or more so) as speed. you have to admit our receivers underperformed this year. we need a real teacher at that position. hell man, our QB's need as much help as they can get.
