For the golf fan I could see your point but I could list many.

For one the superbowl lol.

Atlanta trying to win it's first and Tom Brady trying to stick it to Roger is way more compelling then Tiger Woods right now.

I think he's likely done as far as being a truly competitive player. But come on dude, if serious about a comeback, just go through the paces of a comeback. Stink up the place, get cut, etc. I can't imagine WDing every time you suck is really a better option to getting your game back.

The only caveat is that I'm sure it's incredibly frustrating to not be able to do anything like you used to do it. That said, the whole "oh I'm hurt I'll WD and get it right by training" hasn't worked.
