Pretty sure he has Texas ties now too but not sure. I know he coached there.

Ok Brageous, who's a top notch recruiter and a good WR coach on the east coast?
How about Jeff Scott from Clemson?

Isn't Jeff Scott a Clemson alum?

Since he has already been contacted I am thinking David Johnson as well. Strong New Orleans and Ms. connections.

Yes. I don't see it as likely, but I was trying to think of someone on the East Coast who would be an exciting hire from both a coaching and recruiting standpoint.

Tommie Robinson would be LSU's version of Burton Burns. I hate to use Alabama as a reference point for greatness, but give credit where its due. Burns is the arguably the best recruiter in the country.

The only east coast wide receiver coaches that were listed in 247 Sports top 50 recruiters were Jeff Scott of Clemson, and Ron Dugans of Miami. Jeff Scott is a Clemson grad so it's doubtful he would be leaving Clemson.

I agree it's doubtful, but it would be exciting for a number of different reason.

I feel ya man. I thought the same as well. What about Dugans from Miami. He's a good recruiter and coach.

Beat me to it with the Dugans thought.

Dugans would provide a Florida connection, which is always a recruiting plus.

They will be announced tomorrow.
Then what the heck is the rant going to complain about?

For the sake of the rant, they need to hold off on announcing for as long as possible.

Unfortunately, I had to withhold the leader for the RB coaching spot out of respect for the process. I apologize to my readers.

USC - Tommie Robinson and Pitt - Andre Powell.
Robinson has experience with rbs and wrs
Powell has experience with rbs and special teams and all 3 of those spots are open at LSU along with the Recruiting Coordinator spot.
