If they were there to pick up my daughter I would have told them to go away.

Was dating a girl for a while in college. Like a couple of years at this point. Her dad was a LSU professor, super laid back liberal guy. Never had words or even a cross look from him.

I was going to run her on some errands and pulled up and honked the horn in the middle of the day. He came hauling arse out of the house and made it very clear I was never to do that again. Only time I ever saw the guy upset. Talk about triggered.

Long time ago I had a little punk arse blow the horn for my daughter....once. I went out. He never returned.

These days if some fool blew his/her horn...I'd probably go stand on the front porch and look at them like a total fool that they are.
