How much should a Supreme Court Justice's Salary Be?

Right now they get paid $240-255,000. Seems kinda low, does it not?

Given that almost all of the justices over the last half century were independently wealthy (most come from affluent backgrounds with Ivy League educations and decades earning good salaries as lower court judges) I don't think it matters too much.

Donald has said he isn't taking a presidential salary, but has to take $1 yearly as a matter of law.
So each SC justice can get 11 cents each.

That seems about right. Generals in the military can make north of 300k right now.

I'm guessing those positions are underpaid given the massive perks that come along with the professions
