Her mother was introduced to scientology which is how she got involved. Scientology brainwashes its members to make them think what they are doing is so important and that what they are doing makes the world a better place, however; its a huge scam. Members have to take courses to move up the chain, however; you have to pay for each course.

After being in it for years she finally started to see it for what it was.. They tried to stop her from exposing them, but she was able to locate other former members who were willing to speak out against the "church" and she has a documentary in which she talks to these former members and they pretty much explain how fricked up it is to be a member there.
