If that's the error you are getting on the printer's LED then there's little reason for him to remote into your computer other than for using your pc to run diagnostics on the printer to verify the error.

Most malicious software that create bogus run32dll.exe files are easily caught and stopped by most of the products available today.

Run32dll.exe is a legit filename for a Windows file located at C:\Windows\System32. If you check your processes and see another copy running from a different location then yeah that's malware/virus activity.

Other than that it sounds like you got a bad tech.

Thanks for the help! It's still in the systems portion of the c drive. Ol boy just tried to make me buy something that I didn't need. Thanks again

How do you get rid of the Run32dll.exe. I get pop ups saying there is an error. This happens whenever I turn on my laptop.
