My answer is an emphatic yes, and here's why...

Most of the posters here are missing the question. This question isn't whether you are ok with illegal immigration, it's not asking whether illegal immigrants should or should not be deported. Even if you take as fact that the majority on this board believe that every illegal immigrant should be deported when possible and we should be doing all we can to stop it, that will never completely eliminate illegal immigration. So the question is, what do we do with the ones who "slip through the cracks"?

We have to educate them. There's really no other logical answer. If a child crossed the border illegal with their parents, it's not the child's fault or choice. You can want the government to work diligently to deport that family (including the child) but in the meantime, that child needs to be educated. If you don't educate the child than you are just feeding into the vicious cycle and making it much more likely that the child turns into the criminal low life that so many are worried about.

So, TLDR version: no matter your view on illegal immigration, the child must have access to education while the family is in the country, even if the government is trying to find/deport them.
