Same here. And I have a newborn now. I'm probably selfish anyways, by I'm not going to support increasing my cost of living because someone else may now have a job, especially knowing that there are plenty of available jobs anyways.

i have no issue being selfish. There are a lot of things I would like to buy or do, that would be a better use of my funds than giving some fricknut a job.
