I often wonder what goes through through the minds of people like this. Then I start wishing it was .45 ACP.

I assume these guys were arrested for trespassing? I work on a construction site in Austin, Texas where a few months back we had six cranes similar to one shown on site. We were concerned that students/frat would climb and placed barricades of plywood around base and 50 feet up the tower part. We had one attempt foiled by University Police and two frats were arrested for trespassing. Since law allow for 48 hour hold on most detainees, put these in administrative segregation units after two nights there I would guess they would never try that again.

At that range something in at least .308 would be better.

I hope they get arrested, I feel for the crane's owner and operator, they're liable if one of these idiots gets hurt.
