Sound of Music
I typically can't stand musicals. But I recently watched "Fiddler on the Roof", "West Side Story" and "Sound of Music" with my 12 yr old daughter -- she loved them. Forgot how good of movies they are.
Will wait a bit longer to watch Grease with her.
ETA: Does Mel Brook's "history of the world" count as a classic?

I can recommend two musicals to watch with her - Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (the one with Donnie Osman as Joseph) and Phantom of the Opera. Both very well done.
