Anyone have any recommendations on an affordable and quality sound bar? TIA

I purchased a Samsung HW-K450 2.1 Channel 300 Watt Wireless Audio Soundbar around Black Friday. I've enjoyed it. The sound is great and the subwoofer gives it a nice effect.

Samsung HW H550 user here, and it is pretty nice. Would definitely recommend.

I have the same sound bar. Works great at times but at random moments it gets a lisp. The end of every word, or sound clip, has a psssst to it. The first one I bought had the same thing so I returned it and brought this one home. It has it too. Not all of the time though. Hooked up to a Samsung TV
For this reason it never gets turned on so it's been a waste.

Go to WalMart and get the cheapest they have. I got one for my dad and it works great.

I got an $80 Vizio for outside TV. Works great.
Have a 3.1 system inside. You can get a very nice 3.1 system going for under $1000.
5.1/7.1 way overrated

For music only maybe. But that subwoofer adds depth bro.

The bottom of these things actually work.
I think you'd be impressed with how well a nice 2.0 sounds for movies.

I have never had this problem. Mine is hooked up to a Vizio, so maybe that's it...

Anyone else have any experiences with Polk products?
Yup. That's a good option at that price point.

I have a pretty cheap Sony, but I plug all of my devices into the speaker (Roku, Fire TV, PS4,etc)
Then the speaker goes to my tv and all of my devices are inputs on the speaker. So I have no issues with certain devices not working with speakers or enough HDMI inputs it's been my favorite one ever and I've had it over a year.
I probably bought "and returned" about 8 tradional soundbars
