Look up their breeding. Purpose bred dog to hunt boar, mountain lions and blood track, be loyal, and good with kids and a family. Love my big ole dogos!!!! They don't shed, and are great family dogs.
Too many people automatically lump them into the pit bull/American bulldog mindset, but nothing can be farther from that. Wonderful family dogs!!!
