And yes she is qualified to be Secretary of Education. She's served on numerous education and education reform committees as either chairwoman or a member over the last three decades. Some of her ideas have been enacted as policy in several states.

And none of them have worked. It is ideology over evidence.There are several studies on the results the for-profit charter schools she pushed for in Detroit. The results are not any better than the previous school's results.

The DeVos family made their money in Amway way before 1989. Amway is a barely legal pyramid scheme that had its hooks in Louisiana via Woody Jenkins as many state employees were selling Amway on the side and even when they were supposed to be working for the state. Amway was even in the LSU athletic department in the 1990s.
