I will gurantee you they don't put 99 because their employer has to send the IRS a notification of anything higher than 9 and it makes you subject to an inquiry. ( is plenty to exempt a sizeable salary from any income tax. Of course when it is time to file a return you still owe what you owe...it only makes your cash flow situation a little better during the year. Everyone should file 9 and pay up at the end of the year...who knows you might get lucky and get hit by a bus before January 1 and skate for that year!!!


By the way how do you get to work and what is keeping you from being enslaved by a foreign invader? You are getting plenty of jack shite my friend...you are living in the finest nation on earth and it is only costing you $10,400 a year in federal income tax unless you do not get a refund (and assuming that $200 is merely federal income tax...if that is the total deduction then your burger flipping job was never meant to be a career to begin with). When you are paying $40K in federal taxes a year alone then you may be at the verge of having a viable complaint....but #10K a year means you aren't footing your share of the bill to keep roads under you and enemies at bay...why you complaining about being a welfare recipient???

Jesus H fricking Christ...how the hell do you think they got a line to your house, build the treatment plant etc etc etc???? I seriously doubt of there has been a municipal water treatment plant built in the US in 40 years without some form of state or federal aid.....your water bill doesn't even cover the cost of production and distribution AFTER the investment in infrastructure....t is a public health issue and one that is paid for COLLECTIVELY....and has been for time out of mind in civilized societies.....

Actually its not. A giant amount of our taxes go to military spending. The military is way bigger than it needs to be but its actually the largest distributor of wealth we have in the country so it keeps churning on.

No reason to have multiple military bases across the globe in areas that haven't seen major conflict since WWII.

No reason to keep producing expensive weaponry designed for conventional warfare.

You wan't to cut the deficit. Stop being the world's police force and bring out military down to a size that is needed just to protect the homeland. Nothing more. If shite goes down and we need to ramp it up we can.
