And what happens to those jobs in S. Car. when the Mex. plant goes online?

What happened to the Ind. jobs when the Carrier plant was to open?

The plant in Mexico is making a completely different model. They are not competing for jobs with the workers in SC. BMW is also investing another billion dollars in SC to bring on an X7 plant.

American company. They aren't moving from the US to mexico. I just don't see what angle he has here.

Bc they aren't building a plant in Mexico to sell BMWs to Mexicans. They are building the plant in Mexico to have cheaper labor, skirt workplace laws and sell BMWs to U.S. citizens.

Mercedes Benz. Made in Alabama. Just sayin'.

We used to have the Tuscaloosa special. It was a Mercedes ML320 and I think something on that damn thing broke almost every time we used it.

So, why buy the 3 series if it's the same price as the 5?

Yes, but they have a huge plant in South Carolina that produces cars sold in the U.S. and around the world. BMW is making a car in the U.S. for every car it sells in the U.S. It's just that each plant produces certain models, so some of them are imported from Germany, China, or Mexico.

I don't see trump's angle here. They're not going to build every single model in the U.S.

Exactly. It's economic suicide to expect EVERYTHING we buy has to be made in the USA or subject to a ridiculous tariff.

Trump gonna Trump. Wait until an advisor who actually knows what he's talking about can get to him. Then the Donald will understand the facts.

Sure, he was successful in a facet of business. But not everything is a real estate deal.
