I think Dar wasn't in the loop on the propaganda machine guys building a case against Quinn. I get the impression he actually appreciates Quinn, and doesn't want to frick him over; or he just doesn't need to, so why do it?

Remember when he saw Quinn's pic on the laptop? He is digging in to see if these guys are gonna try to use and abuse Quinn, and through Max's findings, it seems they are doing just that.

If you remember when Quinn busted into his house and Dar called the assassin, the assassin alluded to Dar being overruled by the others. So in short, there is a conspiracy and it kinda appears as though the new Attorney General is also in on it.

Dar seems to want to force the President Elect to resign but it looks like the others are willing to kill her. Since Dar is more or less the public face of the operation (at least to our knowledge), it's pretty obvious that he would be the one to take the fall if the assassination occurs.

So Dar is doing his own covert work to figure out what's happening and it seems fairly obvious that the other powers that be are trying setup Quinn in what looks to be an assassination attempt on the President-Elect.

How is Dar going to play this out? Is he going to repent and try to save the President, Quinn, Carrie? Are they going to believe him? Oh my gosh...stay tuned.

Isn't the Dar the head of the CIA?

What's his and Sauls official role again?

Could Saul be the president elects pick for Sec of Defense

Good job, all of this makes sense now.

Exactly. Dar is part of a Kabal but he's not the leader. They decided to take out Quinn without him. They're now trying to frame him as well?

Are they gonna whack the president and just hope all this gets covered up?

And Dar is deputy CIA director I believe, and/or Interim Director.
