How old are you? Apparently not old enough to remember the 80's. LSU was absolutely considered a basketball power for 10-15 years. Go look at some old footage and notice how the PMAC was packed to the rafters and rocking. In fact, here's a couple of links for your history lesson:

And how many times did you use Florida as an example, lumping them in with national power bluebloods. Do you not realize that before Billy Donovan, Florida had nowhere even close to the history in basketball that LSU had at that time? Florida was a big fat ZERO with regard to it's basketball tradition. But guess what, they went and hired a fantastic young coach. That was all it took.
