More of a beach, exploration, sight seeing person. It may just be me, but I always feel awkward doing it all by myself. So looking for some places that is common for loners to vist.
Some good ideas here so far but any specific experience that someone traveled alone and would do so again? Thx

I've been to Berlin, Tokyo, Seoul and Beijing alone, seeing the great wall, tokyo tower, berlin wall, tiananmen square, forbidden city, etc. It's all about if you want to go international or find something domestic. The great thing about international is you'll meet people from all over the world that are in that city for a short amount of time trying to get the same experience you're looking for.

Oregon has a lot of places you can go and just drive and look at the scenery. Beautiful beaches to walk on, but no need for a swimsuit. Mountains, too. Deserts and canyons, too.
If you like beer, taproom are a great place to hang out by yourself - they usually aren't loud and are a great place to strike up a conversation.

I would start knocking out National Parks one by one. Spending a few days in each.
