Smart light switches?

I want to install some smart light switches on a few lights in my house. Mainly some exterior lights. I want to be able to turn lights on and off while away from the home. What is the best way to go about this?
This seems like what I need, but I don't know if this works on some sort of larger system that I would need. TIA.

I use Wink Hub v1 (there's a v2/newer model hub out now) and it works well with the Cree smart lights I have. Easy to use the Wink hub to put things on "timers" or use your phone to turn off/on.
ETA: This is also purchasable at Home Depot if there's one near you too.

I had previously purchased the Liftmaster MyQ garage door controls (888LM & 828LM), so I added their light switches (823LM). They have their own app that allows you to control everything, and you can set a time for your lights to turn on and off.
The one you linked works with Amazon's Alexa devices to give you voice control, and does not require a hub. If you think you might want to expand your home automation in the future, you may want to look at the ones that work with the Wink hub.

If you have some savy with electrical work you can install a WeMo switch. It does exactly what you are asking for. Connects directly to wifi and doesn't need ZWave or a hub.

I attended the international builders show this week and the leading players in the switch market seem to be lutron and EATON, so you may want to look into pricing for those. EATON uses z-wave tech and lutron is stand alone I believe.
Also heard that some other prominent manufacturers may soon enter the smart switch space. (6-12 months out)
Good luck with your build.
