If you're old school DAoC like me, you will probably love this. Booted this up yesterday and the nostalgia was overwhelming. Still the best MMO PvP ever created.
Queue times are pretty long as it's been more popular than expected at launch but they are working on it. Playing on Albion if anyone wants to give it a go.

Ha. I was a big into DAoC back in the day. Did you ever play Warhammer Online? I liked it even more and I thought it was better at small scale PvP.

I played a little bit of Warhammer. It wasn't bad. All my friends quit though so I bailed.

Played that way too much, had rr11's on Hib/Guin.

I played some DAoC years ago. I always liked the three distinct realms that were unique to each faction and that each faction had unique classes. There were mirror classes in other realms but each realm had a specialty, so the mirror classes weren't balanced equally.

This looks cool. May consider!

It was mind blowing in 2001.
Surely dated now but the world felt so dangerous. Pulling two equal level mobs was basically instant death.
I had to have a map out and use coordinates to navigate around. Huge world.
And that's just the Pve zones. The pvp zones were extremely dangerous
I had a hib Ranger, hib enchanter, Albion Cabalist and a low level 2 handed Midgard shadowblade for the BGs

Man why show me this. They just launched? How is performance?

It's not bad performance wise but the queues are still really long. They are supposed to upping it to a 3000 people server.

I don't think Hibernia has near as big of a queue as some of the other factions. I actually just installed last week before I moved and haven't had a chance to do much other than get my arse beat over and over again vs mobs (couldn't figure out how to access my higher level spells)

Figures. Hibernia was always the red headed stepchild.
Albion and Midgard look incredible. Hibernia is nothing but green hills and forests.
I realize it's based off historical representations.
