It's a 2017 Chevy Volt. I have a $500 deductible on my insurance. They have recommended an 'approved' body shop to get this fixed that seems to be like an expensive place (based on online reviews). So I'd like to see if I can just get this fixed on my own at an independent body shop, so that my premiums don't go up.



Pick whichever shop you want. Get an estimate.

At least 1500, I have a dent on my rear bumper (GF backed into a poll) and I thought they could do it fairly cheap. Nope to get factory paint and all they have to remove the bumper and all sorts of other stuff.
