That whole situation still makes my heart skip a beat when I take my dogs out to hunt and I lose track of one for a minute.

Yeah son was hunting on a foggy day earlier this week - little brown dog was off in the marsh for about 5 minutes unseen - slight panic..
on a positive note, I learned that day that my son has that enviable human quality to be able to turn off pain, discomfort and fatigue and push himself far far beyond what a person thinks they can......
