Take the word, "democracy", and substitute for "campaign".
Compare this to issuing school vouchers in conversation with a socialist democrat from Seattle, whereas the "people"get some ownership in their decisions and choices of how to best educate their children. See how that goes.
This move only bolsters the weakened position the socialists are in now trying to hold some ground with the weak minded of the thin aired.

Was on a plane yesterday sitting next to this lady from Seattle. We got to talking about the 15/hr min wage and she started laughing bc there were no actual jobs to be had. She moved to Pensacola last year and was paying 1,110/month for a 2/1 apartment.
Now it's 2,800/month. She was very much a liberal dem but even she could see that the state had zero clue about how this will damage the middle class even further. I wish I had read this yesterday before talking to her

Do you mean she moved from Pensacola?

Or, more likely, to be sold for $0.75 on the dollar in equivalent weed value.

So the poor masses get to fund their political ideology off the backs of the rich taxpayers, just like unions dues funding the dems regardless of the workers views.

I hope someone tries to pull a campaign similar to that of comedian Lenny Clarke in Massachusetts.
Clarke, now famous for being on Rescue Me and other shows, used a funding mechanism available to all candidates to run a campaign of simply "frick the Kennedys, Vote for Lenny!".
It won't be effective in getting rid of Murray et all but it would be fun to watch someone take the piss out of them.

This is ridiculous. The best system is one where there person with the most private wealth wins. In fact, we could save the taxpayers a ton of money if we just got rid of voting altogether and gave offices to the wealthiest person willing to take the job. The more money someone has, the better they are a personal responsibility and business, and the government is a business, so logically that's the way to go.

Seattle is insane and to think that I'm actually moving there as part of a job relocation.
A lot of the other towns in the area just don't do this shite (Redmond, Bellevue, Everett, etc) and are more conservative.
Here is also what Seattle is spending tax dollars on:
Crosswalk painting
Only $66k of your money for this

King County can't be saved. The rest of the State is decent though.

If you saw how much I paid for the apartment I have here you all would say I am insane.
I am about to move Thank God. I don't get the hard on the OT board has for Seattle. It's not worth it. Not even close.
