I don't bash people because everything is each person's opinion so out of genuine curiosity who was more qualified on staff in your eyes? Again, I am just asking.
Not saying he's "more qualified" but if the hypothetical coaching search were limited to coaches currently on the LSU staff I think there is more potential upside with Aranda. And I expect Aranda's next move to be to a head coaching position at a school that would not have hired Orgeron as a head coach in 2016.

The article was about O's recruiting style/attraction. The purpose was not to re-litigate his hire.

The guy that has actually ran a successful defense at 2 different p5 programs. Something ed orgeron has never done in 32 years of coaching.

Name them.
Ed Orgeron has never ran a successful offense, defense , or program so anyone that has done any of those things is far more qualified than Ed Orgeron.

You're like a fricking broken record with that shite. Don't come in here and shite all over the recruiting board regurgitating the same bullshite because you didn't get your way. The Rant is the next tab up.

Wow a downvote on that?
There are some real trolls on this board, unfortunately.

Exactly. We could've locked up a great up and coming defensive mind instead of hiring a failed retread that will only be as good as his coordinators.
We would know that the defensive side of the ball would always be solid with Aranda as a HC.

Its like you dont understand that people have the same right to post their opinion as you do.
I didnt start the topic or bring up which guy was qualified, boy.
If you dont have a problem with this post...

Most of the little kids on here think money grows on trees. Fisher literally wanted top rated coaching money and he isn't the top coach on the nation. He wanted a long term contract for several million a year....for 10 years....so Lsu would owe him 70m....lol. Lsu has great coordinators, possibly the best they have ever had, and if o doesn't work out we don't owe $70m. To all the Fisher lovers....he has a resume closely following that of miles...
Then dont have a problem with my response, dumbass.

The thread was about RECRUITING on the RECRUITING board. Just because Orgeron is mentioned doesn't mean it's an invitation to drag out that tired old schtick.

I'll say it again, my buddy is a high school coach in Louisiana and said O is far and away the best recruiter he's ever seen and it isn't even close. Stuff like remembering every single persons name resonates over time. Everyone loves him.

All of it is unnecessary on the recruiting board, but I would at least prefer comments that were positive towards the program.

I only responded brother. I didnt initiate the conversation.
Ive repeatedly said the staff has done a great job keeping this class intact.

Pathetic, really...
There are those that hate the O hire so much and are so bitter, that they can't handle anything said that is positive about Orgeron.
I wasn't thrilled about the Orgeron hire, but For the 1st time in 3years, I'm optimistic that we're trending in the right direction
Downvote away

And all the buttons that O has pressed so for have been nothing but positive for LSU. Yes we may lose a couple of LBs to Bama maybe one, but what if those LBs fail and the LBs we replace them with are even better? There's a good chance that happens or that they are just as good. Aranda is a magician with the 3/4 and watch what he does next year with the personnel we do have! This WILL catch the attention of the big time prospects and Ed O will finish the deal with his recruiting prowess. Can't wait to see what Canada does with this offense and if y'all thought we pulled in some great WRs in Cams offense just wait until these guys see this new scheme. The best RBs, FBs, TEs, and WRs will be banging the door down to come play for these coaches. Ed O will finish the deal with his aggressive style.
Do you want to go play for Bama or be the class that took the giant down? That's gonna be Os pitch to all these La boys after he puts that product on the field. I don't think we have even seen a fraction of what O can do out there. Once LSU actually proves it on the field he will turn the juice up even more. LSU under Les Miles was known to be slow to the process of recruiting and even tied the coaches up at times, THIS WILL NOT happen under O. O is going to be the best seller of LSU championship football that we've ever had leading up to the season and into the season. Once his words become truth to these recruits it's game over! LSU will be able to recruit with the best and beat the best from now going forward mark my words.

Well said. He wasn't my choice, but I'll support LSU no matter who our coach is and I will give him a chance. At least see who we sign and who he adds to the staff. I damn sure won't hope he fails just so I can say I was right.
He has locked up our best assistants and brought in one of the best offensive coordinators around. Let's see what he does the next month or two.
