I imagine Evancho's sales would've done something similar if she had declined. You're assuming the sales increased because she said yes to the inauguration. Her sales probably increased because this is the first time anyone has ever heard of her.

That's like saying no one has heard of Susan Boyle or Kelly Clarkson.
For someone nobody has heard of, it's amazing how she is the youngest person in music history to have Plantinum and Gold albums.
