I have a pair of Double H that I bought earlier this year after wearing Ariat for a long time. My ariats were more comfortable from the very start but my HH only took me a few days of all day wear to break in and now I absolutely love them. Very comfortable, a little bit heavier than my previous, and look really good as a daily boot with jeans and pants outside of slacks. I wasn't fond of square toe but that's majority of boots now so I just said F it and now I like them. Mine have the ICE sole on the bottom which is slip resistant so it's good for job sites and whatnot (they make both steel toe and regular, mine are the regular). I'm about to buy the exact same pair because I like them so much and I wear them 7 days a week. I think I paid $215 for them? Oh, -and the roper style heal is much more comfortable than some of the other high heel boots. AND Double H is made in the USA, so they'll have my business.
This is the exact pair I have

Just buy you a pair of Luchesse 1883's and call it a day. You can usually find good deals on them and they'll last you for years.
