"A small number of people who do get offended ...". Yep. So how does that explain the massive PC attacks on major stores & businesses for using "Merry Christmas" in any form of advertising? To the extent most stores nowadays, many many businesses cann't use it out of fear of offending all these "small numbers of people". The apt complex I live in, one of many owned by a corporation, can not put on a "Christmas" party for those who live here because of the PC police. Watch ESPN & listen for how many employees of that super lib company say the words "Merry Christmas". A clue: none. All you hear is Happy Holidays. AT&T ads on tv: "Happy Holidays" is all you hear. etc etc. But it is the right wingers who are over reacting?

Wtf is wrong with Happy Holidays? It encompasses all of the celebrations of the season including New Year's. Makes a hell of a lot more sense for ESPN or whoever to use that than to say "Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Qwanza, Happy Festivus, Happy Solstice, Happy New Year's, and happy whatever else there is!"

As the numbers from PPP show, I see many more right-wingers get offended by "Happy Holidays".
