Eating a few (less than 5) which presumably can be done with minimal harm to one's insides is not going to be worth it to most people who aren't extremely hard up for cash. Eating an amount of $50 bills that would actually make a financial impact would almost certainly do as much internal harm to offset the gain. This is before factoring in potential germ/disease contraction from eating contaminated money. So, overall, this discussion feels rather dumb. If someone was giving you $1,000 for each piece of paper money consumed, I'm sure many more people would break out the forks and knives.

well the OP doesn't address how long we have, whether or not we can cut them up, whether or not we can boil them, etc

for $100k, I'll sit there for a month, slowly eating and digesting
