New law in 2009 set a $60 limit per legislator invited. The loophole is to invite all then blow it out for the ones who do show up. But the reforms are better than what we had.

Spend as much time as I do in Ruth's Chris with clients and you know this is complete a as. Like when a lobbyist orders ten drinks, takes his one and walks away from the bar and legislators move in like a pack of hungry wolves. Or when a lobbyist orders a ton of food "for the table" and the legislators just order their entree on their bill. They are seriously gaming the system.
