Etienne should be viewed as a big time back in his own right.
Don't know why the recruiting services don't exactly see it that way. At 5'10" 210 lbs, he is not a small scat back but is a full size every down type RB.

We should offer Etienne now, lock him up, and Cam can get on board or not. He is too good to not offer.

Agreed. An old friend of mine lives in Jennings and he told me about this kid. He said that Etienne had 7500+ yards on less than 700 carries for his career. Not to mention 100+ rushing TD's. This was all done out of the Veer offense. The same offense we ran in high school back in the 70's. That is basically 3 yards in a cloud of dust. They don't block the end man on the line of scrimmage. I remember our coach telling us run past him or run him over. So how he is classified as a scat back I don't know. Because you can't have that many yards running the veer as a scat back.
