Should have hired that ST coach as well

At least mention a few times to watch. I'm not watching the entire game.

well the first Pitt drive is worth watching.

Their opening drive was very impressive.

Canada said its not the play called its the player making the play.

Canada is right, so long as the defense doesn't know what the play is...

The refs helped them a ton in that game.

Deshaun Watson too. But nobody here will talk about that

No doubt Canada called a great game, and no doubt he's a talented offensive coach. Just keep in mind that a game plan designed for an offense with a seriously overmatched offensive line isn't necessarily what you'll see when he has LSU's offensive line to work with against defenses most of which are themselves overmatched.

You could at least link to a particular play. Not the beginning of the whole damn game.

First drive was a masterpiece. All the presnap movement is bound to cause the defense to be misaligned at some point. Definitely puts the defense on their heels. With the athletes we have, he has to be salivating. I'd still like to see Guice touch the ball 20 times per game.

Gotta give o credit, he put together a great staff. I know Aranda was already hear, but he was able to lock him up, and also sign a great OC.

Just skip through the parts where Clemson is on offense. That's what I'm doing with it on mute while listening to music open in another tab.
Thanks OP for posting.

dat shovel pass killed clemson the whole game. Canada knows how to get the ball to his weapons that is for sure.Go back and watch the offense with brisett(QB) at NC state when he was the OC. Awesome!! Home run hire. i believe we will not be held scoreless many times with Canada as OC

As long as we can now call a special play without a timeout (to tip hand) AND then a delay of game to change the down and distance to frick it all up... it's an improvement than the below average bar.

Agreed. If you watch Nc state and northern Illinois, you'll see he did different things than he did at Pitt. Very very good hire.
The guy is all about taking advantage of what his players do well rather than forcing players into a system. Sounds like we finally have some direction on offense

The problem the last two season wasn't the offensive line so much as it was Miles' antiquated Bo Schembechler offense, as everyone already knew what we were going to run before we ran it. Moreover, most of the teams Bama played had worst offensive lines than LSU. Yet they all scored far more points on Alabama than we did.
Anyway, Coach Canada has many different and creative ways to counter Alabama's defensive line, as he uses plenty of very confusing formations and a lots of well disguised misdirection plays, which against an extremely fast defense like Alabama's will be very effective. Especially some of those different shovel passes he employs.
In fact, had we had his offense installed this season and had him calling the plays when we played Alabama, we'd have won the game,

That's what I said, but then I started watching and got into the game and couldn't stop watching. It's a pretty damn good game. It was close to the very in, and Deshaun Watson is an unbelievably good quarterback. Although he did have two very critical mistakes that enabled Pittsburgh to win in the end.
Nonetheless, it looks like Canada's offense was tailor made for Guice, and also should buy more time for Danny Etling.

I have to admit, that was pretty legit. A fullback streak for 44 yards. Two shovel passes to carve them up. The off tackle run where they showed three different looks by formation . . . impressive.
