Herman seemed to coach better against the P5 teams than he coached against his conference. I don't thnk after his success and subsequent annoitment of "next great young prodigy" he put as much emphasis on winning against his conference as he did beating the big boys. I wanted him at LSU, but I think he has a better chance of success earlier at Texas because of competition. I do now think IF Coach O manages, hires and recruits like he says he will LSU will be better off.
