saw the end coming and kept doing other quests to put it off
started it when it came out. got frustrated with the map covered in symbols, was getting bogged down in random crap and stopped playing while still in white orchard. started playing again but only made it half way through the baron's family quest line before moving on to something else. started playing for a third time a week or two ago and couldn't stop playing till the end a few minutes ago. such a great game. the various strategies needed to take out opponents and the quality of the side quests are really what make it GOAT material. plus sailing and horseback travel ftmfw. can't think of a better game I've ever played. it's made me not want to play other games.
looking forward to the DLC

My favorite game of all time. I haven't beaten Blood and Wine yet but the Hearts of Stone DLC is possible the greatest DLC of all time.

What ending did you get? I got the worst one, and there was definitely something in my eyes.

finished all the DLC a little while ago at lvl 50 and looking forward to finishing all the side quests and exploring all the unexplored areas.
both DLC were great, but blood and wine was definitely the best. it's amazing how B&W could have been a separate game by itself. this is how you do DLC. really enjoyed the fairy tale world and its dark undertones. smiled at the dark souls easter egg near the cloud castle. killing Dettlaff was a huge pain in the arse. took more tries than I'm willing to admit. hardest fight in the entire game by far. but once I figured out the mechanics it seemed easy enough it was just doing all the mechanics the right way all the way through the fight. I'm sure there are multiple ending with it as well, mine had the sisters forgive each other and hug at the end. also not sure if other sorceresses could have met me at the end based on my main game play through, but talking to yen while overlooking the vineyard was a welcome surprise to end the game on and icing on top.
just a fan fricking tastic game. 10/10. it's definitely the best game I've ever played no question.
