Earlier this week, LSU defensive backs coach Corey Raymond and head coach Ed Orgeron connected with Thibodaux's Amik Robertson, and it is believed that the Tigers may start courting him in the future. "I told you we were going to come after you, didn't I?" Robertson remembers Orgeron stating during the conversation.
LSU appears to be exploring a lot of options at receiver to finish this class. Amite's Devonta Smith continues to receive ample attention, while the staff is looking to add at least two more receivers in this class. Karr receiver Racey McMath has yet to receive his offer, despite the Tigers having minimal options to pursue at this stage. With the recent transfers and amount of upperclassmen on the roster, it is not out of the question that LSU may take four wide receivers this class, although getting to that number may prove to be the hardest part.
It will be interesting to see what the hire of offensive coordinator Matt Canada from Pittsburgh does for this recruiting class. We already witnessed four-star quarterback Myles Brennan reaffirm his commitment Thursday morning following a conversation with the new Tigers' play-caller, but there is still a lot of work to do. Mississippi running back Cam Akers remains the top dog at running back, but will we see Canada ring up any new faces? Perhaps Pittsburgh commit Todd Sibley, a bruising runner that was formally committed to Ohio State? Only time will tell.
LSU continues to engage Tennessee defensive back commitment Cheyenne Labruzza, who received an in-home visit from Corey Raymond earlier in the month. Labruzza is receiving a lot of attention from Oklahoma State as well, with the Tigers and Tennessee round out his top three. Expect an official visit from Labruzza in January.

McMath seems like the perfect WR for Canada's offense

Im more happy that Corey Raymond looks to be apart of this.

I'd go nuts if we pulled some croots away from Bama on signing day and left them holding their dick in hand.

We need to not focus on Bama. They will get theirs. Just get ours.

Go after those 3 Stars that Aranda likes to turn into 5 Stars!

It would be nice if they had Travis Etienne's name included in there somewhere. I know they want Akers, but they are completely ignoring this talented kid.

This is what I wouldn't understand about this. Let's say we do get this Sibley kid to flip or even come in for a visit. Why wouldn't we go after Etienne?

yeah, it's crazy, it's like they're afraid to offer Etienne because it may scare away Akers.

Because we are looking for the big bruising punishing runner and etienne is not that. Its not that hard to grasp that we already have our change of pace back committed in edwards-helaire who is an absolute beast.

All out for Najee Harris. we can let Fournette recruit him and convince him that he's doomed to play Jack LB in Tuscaloosa.
