I'm pretty sure three posters from this board are responsible for 90% of Nintendo-related searches.

we had a discussion about not showing the nx/switch in September or at least October as failing to capitalize on the excitement Nintendo has generated, the summary of your response was

"what excitement"

this doesn't prove me right, but i thought it was an interesting tidbit and thought while i was at it i would break your balls in a very inconsequential and G rated manner.

What is the point of this thread? Serious question.

1. Is it to prove Gardoki wrong?

or

2. A chance for fanboys to show that ppl still love Nintendo?

I support both agendas.

All you're proving is people still don't give a shite about VR.

AND Nintendo pretty much attention whore's with announcements-for-announcements, so there's probably a lot of googling of "what the hell is Nintendo actually doing".

I kind of half agree with this. I think it is less about the announcements about announcements and more about the often super obtuse marketing Nintendo does. I mean, even after watching the Switch video, and knowing Nintendo's track record, people still have a TON of questions. So what do they do? Search.

When you get a Sony announcement it's going to be:
1) This will be a powerful console - Check
2) It will get all of the third parties - Check
3) VR - Meh ok. - Check

People obsess over the tech with Nintendo because we have no idea how capable it will be. And that relates directly to third party support. When Sony or Microsoft launch something now, the marketing usually tells you exactly how powerful it is. 4k, VR, etc.
