I had an occasion to go out to that little cemetery too, and saw what you saw. It was absolutely serene, but also spooky.

I also once knew the fishermen who caught the bicycle. They almost left it out there, but decided to keep it for a family member who deals in scrap metal.

When they got home, one of the wives immediately recognized the bike as the one seen on all fliers posted around town, and they called LSP. LSP came and got the bike, brought to the crime lab and was actually able to pull BSLs fingerprints off of it.

I mean, if you need to get rid of a body - a highly diverse, warm, damp ecosystem that will quickly destroy evidence of your capital crime (meaning the man can kill you for it if he can prove it) - what's not to like?

1. Find duffle bag.
2. Drill 5 holes in duffle bag.
3. Wrap body in plastic and tied.
4. Put body in bag.
5. Place weights in bag.
6. Dump

It is serene. A regular guy just traveling would fly by it and not even know it's there.

So will a drum full of acid and a machete to chop the body into enough pieces so it will fit and the lid will seal. Back of the garage a few weeks then just dump down the storm sewer. Never need to leave the house.

Martini, I don't know if you've ever cleaned/gutted a decent sized deer, but any amateur froot-loop psychopath would gag to high hell if he didn't know what he was doing and went nija style on the innards.

That laffy murder with that young girl was a mess. Is that guy still in jail? What's his story? I had a few buddies that knew her. crazy man.

No, they let him out for good behavior.

I'm watching The Killing Season on A&E and early on it appears more than a couple of serial killers are all dumping their prey on or near a beach on Long Island. It reminded me of the Whiskey Bay area along I10. I'm not familiar with that area, but there appears to be an abnormally high amount of cases/bodies associated with it. Is there something "special" about it that draws these killers there to dump bodies?
the best spot is I-55 between Rudock and Manchac - NOLA's favorite spot - at one time you had to take a number from the St. John's sheriff department and wait your turn - I don't know if that rule is still in effect.

Where the hell else would you dump one?

I've never dumped a body or killed anyone. I don't plan on it, either. But there are many places that are more remote, easily accessible, and equally wild.

I'm pretty sure Brandon Scott Lavergne is still in Angola and is not getting out.

Ended up pinning another murder on him from years ago. He will never get out of prison, unfortunately. Wish he had gotten the needle.

I followed that thread from the start. It was one of the GOAT threads of the OT. Reporters were using that thread as an info source. Even though many of them will never admit it.

that thread did sort of lead to the arrest of the murderer.

IIRC, he gave up the location of the grave in exchange for avoiding the death penalty.
