Where the hell are these rumors coming from besides OSU slappy named albert breer, who floated that shite for recruiting purposes?

Is harbaugh's name going to be brought up every year when an NFL job opens up?

Hopefully he does and takes Coach O with him as a DL coach, then we can try this coaching search again seriously.

Any Michigan fan that thinks he's there for the long haul is setting themselves up for heartache. He's ambitious and the super bowl is the ultimate success for a guy like Harbaugh. Not sure the Rams are the best spot but he will be back in the league soon enough.

Les will NEVER get another top tier P5 job. Maybe Purdue or Indiana types.

Probably, but it's also probable that he's going back to the NFL someday.

So why'd he go to UM at all, considering he had multiple job offers from multiple NFL teams?

OSU is beating everyone in recruiting and doesn't need to bash Harbaugh to do it. The rumor is that it was floated for OSU. Maybe it is legit...

He was on the list of coaches for NFL teams to look at that the NFL put together (I assume they have to get the names ok'd by the individuals). He didn't take an NFL job because there wasn't the right one open. Are the Rams the right one? I have no fing idea.

Maybe he wants to go back to the NFL after getting a taste of college. Maybe losing to Meyer isn't exactly his cup of tea and he realizes it may take 3 more years before he is at the top even in the B1G so why not go back to a place where the talent is all pretty even

I agree, i dont think he leaves michigan in two years though, maybe like 5.. if he gets an NCAA title hes done.. then back to the NFL.. he just went to michigan because they begged and he doesnt want to see his alma mater go to shite.. he turned it around in one damn year.. just unreal if you ask me..

3 coaches in america that are just the creme of the crop, Saban, Meyer and Harbough..

Just think if Carroll was still around and Meyer was in the ACC.. those guys would be the top 4 every year..

Big difference between simply staying in the NFL vs staying for the right NFL job. Perhaps last year none of the available openings were appealing. While it would require rebuilding (something Harbaugh has done before), LA might be more attractive for a number of reasons especially given LA can throw as much money at him as needed - 10 million wouldn't be out of the question I don't think.

Hiya neighbor. Didn't realize there was any fellow TD posters in the area.

PS good luck hanging on to Harbaugh. Rams need to make a big hire and Harbaugh has gotta be on the short list.
